Nothing takes away the chill of winter quite like a holiday wedding. For our bride Meg, there was no place but her childhood home that would compare to any other as the backdrop for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration. Yonder Design, who created all the paper details for the weekend, built personalized welcome gifts for each guest, wrapped with delightful holiday packaging. The wedding day began with preparations at home, before heading to the family’s Christian Church where late-afternoon light poured in through the corners of every stained glass window. Elan Artists brought in a captivating pair of choirs - one classic adult choir and one children’s choir - harmonizing perfectly inside the church’s magnificent structure. Candlelight filled the church, creating a warm and serene space for Meg and Marshall’s vows. After the ceremony, guests were welcomed to the bride’s family home for an unforgettable evening. Cocktail hour was hosted outside, where guests found their seat assignments on custom engraved sterling silver ornaments hanging from massive Christmas trees outside the home. This sophisticated, fun holiday black-tie event continued underneath a magnificent tent built by Hensley Event Resources in the back of this beautiful family estate, where 400 of Meg and Marshall’s closest family and friends celebrated the occasion together. Technical Event hung hundreds of large scale starburst lights hung overhead, creating a magical scene for dinner and dancing to come. The energy of Sound House kept guests on the dance floor before transitioning to the Bowie House for a fun afterparty.
