Bridget Bahl and Dr. Michael Chiodo wedding

Manhattan, NEW YORK

Photography JOSE VILLA

The couple came to us five short months in advance of the wedding day with a vision to have an elevated and romantic city soiree in the very place they met and fell in love. On the perfect summer day in New York City, the couple took vows atop the 620 Loft Garden in Manhattan which was transformed for this one special occasion. From the vintage hydrangea blooms nestled delicately in the hedges, to the bespoke garden gate with climbing roses and more. Loved ones were led into song and prayed over these two while overlooking the iconic St. Patrick's Cathedral. It was a breathtaking and very touching ceremony.

The celebration began right away, with double decker city tour buses commissioned to transport guests back to The Plaza for an elevated and dreamy reception; the only property that felt quintessentially New York in the couple's two year journey of searching for a fitting venue.

Guests were welcomed into the Eduardian Ballroom with the sounds of a master harpist and vocalist and strings from Elan Artists, enveloped by a room that was flooded in soft pink roses and dramatic candleabra's for a warm and romantic atmosphere. Soft, luxurious embossed velvet menus atop a stunning formal tabletop set the tone for a three course formal dinner and evening of dancing to come. We moved to the iconic Oak Room and danced to Highline Band.

The couple wanted to surprise their guests so we arranged for a swarm of pedicabs to transport them back to 620 Rooftop and Gardens for an epic after party, with creativity at the forefront. From recreations of their favorite pizza and cheeseburgers to light to dark espresso martinis - every moment felt surprising, personalized and fun.
